More Taiko Drum Master for Wii
Something to work off all the calories from the Taiko Drum Master bento.
The Taiko Drum Master team down at Namco Bandai have been testing their taste buds on overpriced box lunches. Thankfully, that's not all they've been up to.
A retail listing at Gmstar offers first details on a new Wii installment in the Taiko Drum Master series. The new title will carry the Japanese name of "Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodon to Ni-Dai-Me" and will see release on November 19.
All the stuff after the Taiko no Tatsujin means that this is the second Wii Taiko game. The first, Taiko no Tatsujin Wii, was released last year to great retail success.
For this followup, Namco Bandai is preparing a new collection of 70 songs, covering such genres as J-pop and anime. The boss battle mode from DS's Taiko no Tatsujin DS 7 Island Adventure, which puts your taiko skills to use in combat against bosses, is being brought over to the Wii. The game will also include a daily challenge mode and a variety of sound effects to replace the standard drum sounds.
Namco Bandai will offer the title both standalone for ¥5,040 and as part of a taiko bundle costing ¥7,980.
