One of the more, err, unexpected bits of recent news came from Square Enix who, a couple of weeks back, announced that Bon Jovi's We Weren't born to Follow would feature in the television commercials for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. The commercials have yet to begin airing, but Square Enix was good enough to provide an early peak via the Crystal Bearers official site. No, the music that greats you when you first reach the site and sounds like it's from The Island is not the Bon Jovi track in question. To access the commercial, navigate to the site's movie section (on the lower menu, it's the fourth option from the left). You'll find three commercials titled "FF on Wii," "Action" and "Drama." Each spot has the Bon Jovi song.

The Crystal Bearers hits on November 12.
