Phantasy Star Portable 2 Demo Online Play Targets 200,000
You've got a good chance to play online if you download.
Sega's upcoming demo of Phantasy Star Portable 2 has a generous amount of content for a freebie, so I doubt anyone actually complained about the one bullet point that listed the demo's online cooperative play mode as being limited to only a select few playerss.
In case you did complain, though, here's what Sega didn't say last week when it announced the demo. The select few will actually number 200,000.
Over a period of four weeks, 200,000 players will get to play the demo online. 50,000 players will be selected in drawings held on 11/5, 11/12, 11/19 and 11/26. Winners of each drawing will get a network license that's good for a one week of online play time.
To participate in what is presumably, for Sega, an online beta test, you'll have to sign up at the official site. All those who sign up will get a free custom theme.
