Let's Check the Games Japan Festa Lineup

Is that a top secret Tecmo title?

Publisher Tecmo appears to have a mystery title in development. This isn't too surprising, as publishers tend to develop their games a bit before announcing them. But I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Games Japan Festa organizers recently shared the game lineup for this year's big event, which hits Osaka in mid November. The Tecmo area of the lineup has a standard-sized TBA for one of its game slots.

Here's the full list of games:

Irem Software Engineering

  • R-Type Tactics II Operation Bitter Chocolate (PSP)

Electronic Arts

  • Tsumuji (DS)
  • FIFA 10 (PS3/X360)
  • Need for Speed Shift (PS3/X360)

Capcom

  • Lost Planet 2 (PS3/X360)
  • Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars (Wii)
  • Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (Wii)
  • Mega Man Battle Network Operate Shooting Star (DS)

G Enterprise

  • G.G. Series (DSiWare)

  • Way of the Samurai 3 Plus (PS3)
  • Kenka Pancho 3 Portable (PSP)

  • Video for latter half of the year titles

Sega

  • Phantasy Star Portable 2 (PSP)
  • Valkyria Chronicles 2 (PSP)
  • End of Eternity (PS3/X360)

Titles For Reference

  • Uncharted 2 (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank Future 2 (PS3)

Namco Bandai

  • God Eater (PSP)
  • Keiju Busters (DS)
  • Tales of Graces (Wii)

Level-5

  • Inazuma Eleven 2 (DS)

SNK Playmore

  • Samurai Spirits Sen (X360)
  • Metal Slug XX (PSP)

Tecmo

  • TBA
  • Again FBI (DS)

It's unclear of the TBA in the Tecmo list refers to a specifics title, or if it, like the TBAs in the Microsoft and Square Enix lists, refers to just a bunch of titles that just haven't been announced for the show.

Regardless, I encourage everyone to start speculating that we'll see Dead or Alive Code Chronus and Metroid: Other M (developed by Team Ninja) trailer at this relatively small game event.

For Osaka-based readers, the Games Japan Festa will hit Osaka's ATC Hall on 11/14 and 11/15. Admission is free. Show organizers expect 15,000 people to attend over the two day period.
