Sony Readies New PSP Value Packs

PSP-3000 back in the spotlight for year-end promotions.

PSP go had its fifteen minutes. Now Sony appears to have its promotional sites set back on the PSP-3000 with the announcement today of new bundle packs for the older hardware.

December 3 will see the release of four holiday season PSP-3000 Value Pack bundles. Priced at ¥19,800, these include an original pouch, a cloth, and a 4 gigabyte Memory Stick Pro Duo (Mark2). The bundles will be available in Piano Black, Pearl White, Vibrant Blue, and Radiant Red colors.

Sony will also be re-releasing its PSP New Hunters Pack at a new low price point of ¥18,500. Released earlier this year, the New Hunters Pack combines a base PSP-3000 unit with the PSP the Best budget version of 3.5 million unit selling Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. The new priced version will be available in limited quantities exclusively in Vibrant Blue starting December 10.
