Resident Evil 5 Add-on Scenario Set for Release
PS3 and Xbox 360 players can look forward to Jill Valentine.
Following up on announcements made overseas earlier today, Capcom Japan announced today plans to distribute Jill Valentine's "Lost in Nightmares" episode as download content for the domestic version of Resident Evil 5 as well. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners can both look forward to the content at an undisclosed point and for an undisclosed price.
Capcom actually said to expect Lost in Nightmares and more, without specifying just what's included in the "and more."
Lost in Nightmares is an additional scenario that was originally announced for inclusion in PlayStation 3's Resident Evil 5 Alternative Addition. The scenario allows players to take control of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in a scene that was originally shown as a flashback in RE5.
In addition to the new scenario, Alternative Addition gives PS3 owners motion controls through Sony's upcoming wand-like motion device. Capcom's Japanese announcement was unclear on the presence of motion controls in the PS3 version of the download content.
