Ridiculously Named R-Type Tactics Sequel Redated
Name still goes unexplained.
Gamers every were were reduced to tears from all the "bitter tear" headlines that accompanied Irem's sudden delay of R-Type Tactics II Operate Bitter Chocolate in early October. You won't find any such headlines for the latest update, though, as the news is all good!
First up is a new final release date. It turns out that the wait from the original October 29 date won't be long. The new final release date is December 10.
As previously announced, Operation Bitter Chocolate will be available in both UMD and direct download forms. The UMD version will go for the standard ¥5,040 PSP game price. The download version has been priced at ¥3,800.
The other good news concerning the game can be found at the official site. Irem previously announced a soundtrack pre-order bonus for the game. You can now get a sampling of some of the tracks at the site.
