I wrote earlier about the start of availability of WiiWare demos today through a special My Life as a Darklord Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles demo. This is actually just one of four available demos

Nintendo also released today demos of Ransen! Pokemon Scramble, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Ikuzo! Arashi no Boukendan (one of the three Mystery Dungeon games), and World of Goo. These will be available for limited time through January 31.

Nintendo even opened a special page for its demo offerings, complete with a video detailing the initial lineup (the video is accessible via the blue link above the Mystery Dungeon screenshot).

To download WiiWare demos, you access the Wii Shoping Channel. There's a new "demo" section under the "genre" area of the channel's WiiWare section.

WiiWare demos can be given as gifts to friends, in case you want to show someone that you care about them, but not enough to buy them an actual game.
