Guy, Cody, and Adon were confirmed for inclusion in Super Street Fighter IV last week through Famitsu, IGN and the likes. Capcom followed through on Friday with the expected official blog post on the topic. Even better, Famitsu.com came through with a blog post from producer Yoshinori Ono.

In the Capcom official blog post, writer Natsuki Shiozawa says that development on Super is approaching the debugging and battle fine tuning stages. She then goes on to a short introduction of the characters.

You might remember this pic from last week:

It turns out that the Chun-li beater was jailbird Cody.

You can see more on the characters, including a trailer and profile pages with voice samples, at the Super SFIV official site.

Next week's blog post will have details on the upcoming SFIV (the arcade version) national tournament.

In the Famitsu blog post, Ono (after letting us know that he has diareha due to his eats during a recent Famitsu Midnight Live broadcast) shares some details on the new characters.

Regarding Adon in particular, Ono notes that in Alpha 3, you could change the character's move set based off your choice of one of three izms (playing styles). SFIV has no izm system in place, but they're hoping to pull moves from the Adon's various izms into the game.

As an example, Ono mentions the possibility of putting Adon's X-ism mid air jaguar kick into his standard move set. They're currently running through tests of this form.

There's a lot more in the original blog post, but much of it is too technical for me. Perhaps some true SFIV warrior will translate it.
