Nintendo is delivering a new type of mini app to DSi Ware players. Set for release next week is "Nintendo DSi Calendar," an event calendar program.

Nintendo DSi Calendar lets users set up a calendar consisting of original and preset events. Original events can be given unique names, input with the stylus and filed by event type. The program can store up to 110 such events. Preset events include things like graduation ceremony and payday.

The full name of the program translates to "How Many Days Left? It Counts. Nintendo DSi Calendar." The program will display a countdown to upcoming events Screenshots show the program displaying a congratulations message when a birthday arrives.

The calendar is meant to be turned on daily. Each day, you'll get a greeting, complete with information about season-specific events.

Nintendo DSi Calendar is set for December 2 release at 200 DSi Points. For a video, see Nintendo's official site.
