Now Phantasy Star Portable 2 is forcing its crossovers on other games
Valkyria Chronicles 2 bends over and gets a special heroine.
Phantasy Star Portable 2's myriad of crossover promotions have thus far seen costumes, weapons and other elements make the trip over from other games.
The latest promotion, announced today, goes in the opposite direction. Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be lending some of its content to a major Sega release from early 2010, Valkyria Chronicles 2.
Those with Phantasy Star Portable 2 save data on their Memory Stick will find a few bonuses when playing Valkyria Chronicles 2. PSP2's heroine Emilia will appear as a usable guest character in Valkyria 2's main scenario mode. Additionally, you'll get early access to two special missions and some special tank customization stickers.
It's unclear if Valkyria Chronicles 2 was a willing participant in this crossover, or if Phantasy Star Portable 2 snuck up on it from behind.
