Bioshock 2 Set for March
Not simultaneous with overseas version, but still pretty close!
When D3 Publisher made the surprise announcement a couple of weeks back that it had acquired the Japanese rights to Bioshock 2, it listed a general "Winter" time frame for the game. That sounded like it could potentially mean a simultaneous Japanese release for the highly anticipated sequel, which is due for North American release through 2K Games on February 9.
Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Today, D3 got a bit more specific about the game's release date. Domestic players can look forward to the title now in March, meaning at least a month wait from the English version.
Aside from the date, D3 shared only general background on the game today. It has yet to detail its localization plans in terms of voices and content changes.
Both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game hit in March at ¥7,329.
