Capcom Shares Ghost Trick Trailer
Plus, the producer hints at an end to development in the new official blog.
We haven't heard a whole lot about Ghost Trick since the Tokyo Game Show, where it appeared in playable form. Today, however, Capcom suddenly shared a new trailer for the game, both at its website and with the media.
You can stream the two-and-a-half minute clip here:

The trailer kicks off with the scenario that opened the Tokyo Game Show demo. Main character Sissel, awakens to find a red-headed girl being held at gunpoint.
In the TGS build, this is where you experienced your first episode as you attempted to save the girl by following instructions from a talking desk lamp. Here, the trailer jumps into this stylish, but totally baffling, but stylish array of character profiles and key phrases. There's some gameplay footage at the end too, if you stick around.
The two characters introduced in the trailer, outside of main character Sissel, are Linne and Kanon. Linne is the red-haired girl from the first episode who's apparently been targeted by someone. Kanon hasn't been introduced at the official site, although you can see some shots of her having a strange passage with some donuts.
In addition to the trailer, the official site took delivery today of a developer blog. Titled "Ghost Column," the blog is quite unfortunately included in the body of the flash site, so you probably can't Google translate it. I'll try to summarize the posts whenever I get a chance.
This first column is written by designer Shu Takumi. Mr. Takumi says that development on the game is progressing well, and deadlines and goals are coming into realistic view. The team's tension is at highest tide as they reach the final phases of development.
Ghost Trick is listed with a general 2010 date, but even at TGS it looked quite far along. Considering Mr. Takumi's comments, perhaps we won't have to wait too long into the new year for the final version.
Here's a greeting card from Mr. Takumi:
Hopefully this doesn't mean we won't see any further updates at the blog or Ghost Trick official site for the remainder of the year!
