3D Final Fantasy XIII Set for Theaters
Two minute 3D advertisement to be aired before Avatar showings.
Final Fantasy XIII is riding the wave of Avatar hype. Square Enix announced today plans for a 3D take on the game to appear in theaters later this month.
The theatrical release is actually just an advertisement which will appear in Toho Cinemas theaters showing Avatar. For the ad, Square Enix has redone two minutes of CG footage from the game in 3D.
Those who want to see a new dimension for Final Fantasy XIII should attend Toho Cinemas Avatar showings from between December 23 and January 5 (the ad will not be shown at Toho Cinemas Kinshicho).
