Nintendo Shares World Hobby Fair Plans
New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the main attraction once again.
New Super Mario Bros. was the big thing in Nintendo's Jump Festa booth. Actually, it was the only thing in the booth.
It looks like Nintendo will be recycling its Jump showing for the Winter World Hobby Fair. The company posted on Friday an information page for the event, and once again New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the only game set for display.
According to the page, Nintendo will have the game on display in a demo corner, allowing visitors to select their favorite course for one to four player play.
Additionally, visitors will be able to take part in a coin battle tournament in which four players attempt to collect the most coins. Perhaps we can consider this a preview of things to come when Nintendo's nationwide Mario tournament commences in February.
The Winter World Hobby Fair kicks off in Osaka on the 17th. Subsequent weeks will follow with showings in Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
