Armored Core 5 Site Goes Live
New details on some of the tie-ins with Last Raven Portable.
Famitsu managed to ruin yet another surprise announcement as information leaked out yesterday about Armored Core 5's platform and some high level gameplay concepts. You can read all the details here.
Today, From Software's "5" teaser site gave way to an Armored Core 5 teaser site, confirming that the game is indeed coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010.
The site doesn't have any actual content at this point. For a first look at the game, you'll want to check out Famitsu.com, which uploaded some of the screens and details that were disclosed in the print story.
There's actually one piece of content at the teaser site: details about the Armored Core Last Raven Portable connectivity that was mentioned when AC5 was first announced over the weekend.
As announced a long, long time ago, those who pre-order Last Raven Portable will get this:
The AC Chronicle Art Works book includes 60 full color pages showing artwork from the Armored Core Portable series, an interview with producer Toshifumi Nabeshima, and comments from the game's designers.
Here's where the AC5 connections begin. The art book will also include first ever visuals and design images for Armored Core 5.
The campaign code that was mentioned by Nabeshima at AC5's announcement will be included with Last Raven as a second bonus item. All copies of Last Raven Portable will include a serial card with a product code for AC5. Following AC5's release, you'll be able to enter the code at a special campaign site to download some special contents.
What are those special contents? That's a very good question!
