Level-5 Expands to Tokyo

Level-5 is synonymous, and very vocal about, its home region in the southern region of Fukuoka. But the Professor Layton studio will soon be expanding a bit closer to the center of the Japanese game industry, Tokyo.

The company issued notice today about the start of a new Tokyo branch. Level-5 Tokyo Office opened its doors earlier this month in the Shinagawa business district.

The focus for the Tokyo studio will be on "new businesses" centered around mobile and overseas categories.

Level-5's main office, presumably where most of its major properties are developed, will still be in Fukuoka.
