Tales of Vesperia Blu-ray Includes PS3 Download Content
Damn straight, at ¥8,190!
PS3 owners looking into buying the home release of Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike may want to go with the Blu-ray version. The Blu-ray will come packed with special contents for the game off which the movie is based.
Bandai Visual shared details on the home release today. The First Strike will hit Blu-ray, DVD and UMD on May 28, costing respectively ¥8,190, ¥6,090 and ¥2,940.
The Blu-ray and DVD versions will include a promotional video collection, audio commentary from the cast and staff, and, most intriguingly, a new video clip showing the events between the movie and game. The UMD version will include just the promotional video collection.
Buyers of the Blu-ray version's first print run will also find a download ticket which can be used to download two costumes for the PS3 version of Vesperia. These costumes turn Yuri and Estel into soldiers from the movie's Nylen Corps force.
