Last week's announcement of Monster Hunter Frontier Online for Xbox 360 had many wondering about the possibility of an overseas release for the game. Based on an interview at Famitsu.com, an overseas release looks likely.

Said Capcom's Keiji Inafune on the matter: "I feel Monster Hunter can definitely succeed overseas. There's a high possibility that MHF will kickstart that."

While not specifically stating that an overseas release will happen, Inafune seems to be expecting it.

Monster Hunter, while one of the most successful series in Japan, has yet to see success in international markets. Capcom has in the past said that it hopes to make the series a worldwide hit.

The Famitsu.com interview is actually a more complete version of an interview that was featured in last week's Weekly Famitsu. Click here for a summary of that.
