Super Street Fighter IV: Let's See More Combos We've Already Seen

Guy, Adon and Cody show off their best. Plus, check out the sweet Valentines Day trailer clip.

Capcom's blast of disappointingly low resolution Super Street Fighter IV screenshots from yesterday provided looks at the two Ultra Combos for Adon, Cody and Guy. Here's some textual details and videos to go along with the screens.

I'll remind you that you can see all these Ultra Combo videos in higher resolution at the Super SFIV official site under the character section.

Before getting to the combos, here's that Valentines Day trailer Capcom promised last week. This hit the official site on Saturday.

As promised, Cammy, Chun-Li and Juri feature in this clip, which is completely devoid of gameplay. Complaints? Then you're a stupid poopie head. Capcom, make a QTE game that looks just like this, and I'll pay $59.99 for it.

Now on to the combos. For the uninitiated, each character in Super has access to two Ultra Combos, up from the single Ultra of the original. You choose your Ultra at the character select screen.

Guy

Bushin Goraisenpujin

Guy pummels his opponent with punches and kicks, launches the opponent into the air, then finishes with a Kaiten Izuna Otoshi move.

Bushin Muso Renge Guy grabs his opponent, punches him across the battle field, overtakes and beats the crap out him, pounds him back across the battle field, then overtakes and beats the crap out of him some more. Do you see why some people think the Ultra Combo II moves are more powerful?

Cody

Final Destruction

Cody performs a series of punches on his opponent, the last one a Criminal Upper that sends the opponent into the air. In the video, after Guy falls, Cody says "That was boring" or something like that.

Last Dread Dust Cody kicks up the sand, making his opponent stagger back, then beats down upon him repeatedly with a wrench. He launches the opponent into the air with an uppercut (using that wrench), then bats him across the battlefield with a pipe. In the end of the video, he asks "Has your body relaxed a bit?"

Adon

Jaguar Revolver

After a series of Jaguar kicks, Adon launches his opponent into the air with multiple elbow attacks, then finishes with a powerful knee attack.

Avalanche Jaguar Adon performs a flying knee kick, then beats down on his opponent's back, finishing with kick to the downed opponent. This move's starting attack is similar to a Rising Jaguar, making it suitable for countering aerial attacks.
