Retailer Leaks Details on New Super Robot Taisen Game

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed (above) is now out, leaving a void in the Suparobo lineup.

Looks like Famitsu's big strategy series reveal has been spoiled. Of course, this is the doing of an online retailer.

In a listing that has since been deleted (you can see a screen grab at Hachimaki), retailer E-digi provided details on Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Masou Kishin: The Lord of Elemental. The game is being readied for DS release on May 27.

Masou Kishin: The Lord of Elemental is the name of a virtual robot anime that appears in the Super Robot Taisen series. In 1996, Banpresto released a Super Famicom game based off the title.

The new DS tile is a remake of the Super Famicom title. Gameplay will be based off the original, but arranged to match modern day Super Robot Taisen standards.

Assuming this is the strategy title Famitsu was referring to in the preview section of its magazine this week, expect to get a first look next week.
