Senko no Ronde DUO Detailed

G.rev packing the Xbox 360 shooting port with new features.

G.rev shared today new details on the Xbox 360 version of its arcade shooter Senko no Ronde DUO.

Home players have plenty to look forward to over the arcade version. A mode screenshot shared by G.rev lists the following modes: Arcade, Versus, Story, Score Attack, Network, Replay Data, Training, Gallery, Settings, and Market Place.

The story mode features new characters, visuals and music, and is now fully voiced. Substories will be offered as download content.

More advanced network functionality is on the way too. Similar to Street Fighter IV's network play, you can set it so that the game will interrupt you with online challenges while you play arcade mode. You'll also be able to upload and download replay data.

The 360 version also adds a new "Commander Style" control option. Designed for players who may not be so keen on action games, this option lets you become your partner character and issue commands to the main character. During this mode, you can also press buttons to issue shouts of support, raising your favor with the main character. This control option can be used for online matches.

G.rev has made available a trailer for the 360 version, viewable here:

The Xbox 360 version of Senko no Ronde Duo is set for April 28 release. Pricing is set at ¥7,140 for the standard version and ¥9,240 for a limited edition. The limited edition includes a 60 minute drama CD. G.rev is also planning retailer-separate bonus items for pre-orderers.
