Famitsu.com reports today that Marvelous Entertainment is developing a native app to launch opposite Apple's iPad tablet device.

The new game is being headed up by Kenichi Nishi, a highly regarded game designer with credits that include Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG and Chibi Robo. Aside from this, the site did not provide details.

This game is being targeted for simultaneous release with the iPad. Domestically, the iPad is set for release some time in April.
