.hack and frequent Naruto developer CyberConnect2 has opened a countdown site for a new DS project.

The countdown seems to be targeting a March 18 unveil. That's a Thursday, something that usually implies a Famitsu blowout (complete with the early leaks).

There's actually no indication of platform on the countdown page. However, a visit to themain CyberConnect2 homepage confirms this to be a DS game.

CyberConnect2 recently completed work on .hack//Link for the PSP, which was released last week and placed second in the sales charts.

The studio is currently working on a sequel to Naruto Shipuuden Narutimate Storm. This is being prepared for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
