What's New in Class of Heroes 2G

Trophy support, full voice, additional dungeons and... HDD install?

Famitsu provided just a few details on Class of Heroes 2G in its early preview last week. Today, Famitsu.com returned with a more exhaustive list of changes in this PS3 remake of Class of Heroes 2.

Known in Japanese as "Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono," Class of Heroes is a dungeon RPG series from Acquire and Zero Div. The PSP original hit in August 2008. Players enter a school for adventurers and take on a variety of "classes," or quests. These quests involve dungeon crawling and turn-based combat.

The PS3 title is a remake of the PSP sequel to Class of Heroes, released only in Japan in 2009 as Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono 2. New features for the PS3 include:

Character Edit Options

You have more options over character customization now.

NPC's become party members

Clear certain scenarios, and certain major NPC characters will become addable to your party.

Full Voice

All dialogue for the over 50 characters who appear in the game is voiced. The popular voice unit Sphere serves as the primary characters.

HDD Install

Install game data to the PS3's hard disc, and you'll be able to enjoy a speedier gameplay experience.

Trophy Support

The game will have a variety of trophies for such things as level of progress through the scenario and defeating certain monster types.

Additional Dungeons and Skills

You'll find new skills as well as dungeons that did not appear in the PSP original.

Class of Heroes 2G hits on July 15 at ¥6,279. See the Famitsu.com article for more screens.
