Kamen Rider Card Battle Game Set For DS

Data Carddass arcade game makes makes the move home.

Namco Bandai has announced a DS adaptation of its Carddass trading card arcade game Kamen Rider Battle Ganbaride. The DS version, titled Kamen Rider Battle Ganbaride Card Battle Taisen, will see release this Summer.

The original arcade version, first released in December 2008, features two-on-two tag match battles using Kamen Rider characters from Showa on up. Players create a team of heroes by scanning in two cards, one as your main hero and one as your support character.

The DS version will include all cards from versions 1 through 9 of the arcade game, totaling over 700 cards. You'll gather cards as you work through a story mode that's new for the DS version. The game will also include wireless support for trading cards with other players.

As a bonus item for early buyers, Namco Bandai will be including a special "11 Rider Kick Card." This can be scanned into the arcade Kamen Rider Battle Ganbaride to make 11 Kamen Rider heroes appear on the battle field at once for a rider kick.
