A few additional details on Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 have surfaced from the latest issue of V Jump.
As previously revealed (through V Jump's sister magazine Weekly Shounen Jump), the Raging Blast sequel is in development for Xbox 360 and PS3 release this year. The game will feature over 90 characters, 20 new, along with improved visuals and more expansive fields.
About those improved visuals, V Jump says that the "anime-like" visual expression has "evolved to the extreme." Additionally, the game will be "challenging new battle expressions," through detailed motion and expansive 3D fields.
Key terms appear to include "Real" and "Fast." At least... these are the two terms V Jump chose to write in English. The character and stages are said to be "real" while the battle speed is said to be "fast." Regarding the "real" part of the visual expression, the magazine shows a screen of Goku charging up and says that his facial expression is so realistic as to surprise you.
A bit more specifically, V Jump detailed the game's "Impact View System," which promises to up the feeling of your being a part of the battle. During battle, you'll see such effects as motion stop and speed increases, allowing you to experience "a speed from a different dimension."
The magazine also said to expect four new battle stages for the game. These include a Shinden (shrine) stage and a Wakusei (planet) stage.
In all, a typically vague Jump article this week. But with two consecutive weeks of coverage, and an overseas announcement last week, we'll hopefully be getting some proper information at the game's official site shortly.
