Level-5 Opens Shop in Santa Monica
Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven developer begins overseas expansion.
Level-5 has been hinting at plans for expansion into North America for some time now. Today, those plans solidified with the formal announcement of the impending birth of Level-5 International America Inc.
It's "impending" because it hasn't happened yet. The Fukuoka publisher/developer's North American subsidiary will open its doors in Santa Monica this September. Further details were not provided.
CEO Akihiro Hino also previously hinted at plans for European expansion. According to today's press release announcing the North American subsidiary, Level-5 plans to open a European office some time in 2011.
