Gundam has taken over Odaiba and Akihbara. Now, with some help from airline giant ANA, it's about to take over the skies.

ANA will begin operating the ANA x Gundam Jet next month. This special Gundam themed passenger plane will run from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Osaka between July 16 and March 2011. The jet featured logo marks and a Gundam head on the sides. Passengers who board the plane will take home a special certificate.

This promotion is part of the ANA x Gundam Sky Project, a collaboration between ANA, Sunrise and advertiser Sotsu. The promotion will also include sales of a special ANA colored Gundam unit. These will be available in 1/144 and 1/48 scale, priced respectively ¥3,000 and ¥8,500.
