The King of Fighters XIII Collaboration You Didn't Ask For

King of Fighters XIII is getting its first major collaboration. Street Fighter? Nope. Tekken? Nope. Uhh.... Arcana Heart? Nope.

The upcoming arcade fighter has somehow ended up in a crossover with Gamania's MMORPG Lucent Heart. The collaboration will see characters from KOFXIII appear as avatars in Lucent Heart. Players of the MMORPG will be able to select from Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, Yuri Sakazaki and Leona Heidern.

To celebrate this pairing, Gamania set up a special site that's full of puns and hearts. Images of the avatar versions of the KOF characters will be shared at the site shortly. For now, you can download some commemorative wallpapers.

Gamania did not specify if there's some sort of hidden connection between the two games that justifies this collaboration, which it refers to as a "Super Collaboration."
