Now Approaching Your City: The Pokemon Bus

Remember that Pokemon Black & White demo tour Pokemon Co. promised for mid August? Today, the publisher shared details on this as well as its upcoming promotional plans for the just released Pokemon movie.

The Black & White demo event is called "Pokemon Searcher BW: Search for the Legendary Pokemon." This isn't your ordinary demo event. Pokemon Co. refers to it as a "moving attraction."

From August 7 through September 12, a special Pokemon bus known as Pokemon Searcher, will travel Japan, hitting up shopping centers and other spots in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka and Fukuoka. Board the bus at one of its stops, and you'll get to sample Black & White and view the latest Black & White footage. It also looks like cover Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom will make appearances.

In addition to Black & White, Pokemon Co. is promoting the latest Pokemon movie, which hit theaters on the 10th. From July 15 through August 10, Diamond & Pearl owners will be able to download "Satoshi's Pikachu" from Nintendo Zone, DS Station and other Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service spots. This special Pikachu cannot be obtained through standard play.
