Dream Club Set for PSP
Xbox 360 host club sim makes the move to the small screen, complete with new features.
The hostesses from D3 Publisher's Xbox 360 host club simulator Dream Club are shrinking down for the small screen. This week's Famitsu has a two page spread on Dream Club Portable, a PSP version of the Xbox 360 original.
The PSP version appears to be an updated port of the 360 version. The magazine lists eight of the original's cast of ten, promising full voice. Gameplay systems mentioned in the magazine include IIS (Interactive Inshoku ("dining") System) and ETS (Emotional Talk System). Like the 360 version, the PSP version will offer download content, with Famitsu showing some sexy attire for Amane, Mio and the bunch.
New for PSP players is a feature called "Dream Clock." In the Xbox 360 version, the club's receptionist commanded a great amount of popularity amongst players, even though she wasn't a targetable hostess. In the PSP version, the receptionist will speak to you as part of a clock mode. She'll tell you the time, and will also pass along the current status of the hostesses.
Dream Club Portable is currently 80% complete and will see release this Fall. Famitsu's information box for the game lists ad-hoc support, although it's unclear what this is for. The game's player count is listed as one player.
