Genki Mobile Brings Exercise App to DSi Ware
Three exercises to help make you slim.
Genki Mobile (not to be confused with Genki, the maker of such rad games as Tokyo Extreme Racer and Super Magnetic Neo -- I still have my Neo beenee, and I wear it when I want to look like a thug!) released its latest DSi Ware app yesterday. Here's s look at Ugoite Asobu Diet .
The name translates to something along the lines of "Move, Play, Diet." Yes, this is a mini exercise app for your DSi. The "Move" part of the name comes from the use of system's camera to capture your motions and convert them to motions for an in-game character. A video feed is shown in the upper right
The actual dieting side of the game was supervised by Noriteru Oseki, CEO of personal training company Shapes (that's Oseki with the bright smile in the lower right side of the page). You'll find three exercises:
- Do as many squats as possible in the given time limit.
- Side Step
- Jump from side to side as many times as you can in the given time limit.
- Attempt to hold a yoga pose for as long as possible.
As you earn points in these modes of play, your in-game character becomes thinner and more fashionable.
Ugoite Asobu Diet hit DSi Ware yesterday at 500 DSi Points. Access the official site for a video.
