Idolmaster's Hatsune Miku Collaboration Detailed
Costumes and music being transferred between idol games.
Idolmaster 2 was the big announcement from the Idol Master fifth anniversary concert a couple of weeks back. But on the second day of the show, Namco Bandai brought in Sega for another major announcement. Idolmaster and Hatsune Miku Project Diva are teaming up.
Today, Sega detailed the collaboration. Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd, the PSP followup to the original Hatsune Miku rhythm game, will offer Idolmaster SP music and costumes in download form.
Regarding the costumes, Namco Bandai will make the "Primary Star Plum" costume for Idolmaster's Haruka, Chihaya and Ami & Mami characters available as costumes for, respectively, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka and Kagamine Rin.
Sega provided shots of each character in their original form, so you'll have to use your imagination to merge the Imas costumes with the Hatsune Miku characters (right):
Regarding the songs, Sega has said that two Idolmaster SP songs will be made available, but it has not said which songs.
The download content will be available this Fall. Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd hits retail on the 29th.
