What would it have looked like if your little sister had one day transformed into a Sega Saturn? Find out by watching this new trailer of Super Dimensional Game Neptune.

Disappointed? Then you, like myself, were probably working under the assumption that Neptune's characters would look like game consoles. They don't. The main human-like characters transform into goddesses who are supposed to be representations of certain consoles. It's all rather abstract.

We're going to have to wait for someone to make a game that just gives your favorite consoles legs and arms and has them face off in the great system wars where they equip CD-ROM drives and FX Chips to up their parameters.

Note that the final results of the transformations shown in the trailer could change depending on the processors you've equipped to your character.

Outside of the transformation sequences, the trailer provides a look at the in-game "parodies" of certain video game companies. There's Gust-chan, who travels the world selling items. There's Nippon Ichi, hero of the Game Show World who's suddenly appeared in this world. Watch her perform her "Justice Kick" move while the Compile Hearts girl pleads with her to be nicer.

Towards the end of the trailer, we're shown summon sequences with Compile Hearts and Idea Factory game characters. The game also has Sega character summons.
