New Bayonetta Info Coming This Week
Producer of acclaimed action title makes a mysterious Tweet.
Bayonetta is less than a year old, but there's some buzz about a sequel now thanks to a mysterious Tweet by the game's producer, Yusuke Hashimoto.
Tweeted Hashimoto earlier today, "Good morning. It looks like we'll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it."
There's no indication in Hashimoto's post about what kind of information we can expect.
This may not be related, but Game Jouhou points out that in a past interview with an overseas publication, Hashimoto expressed interest in doing a spinoff that takes a different approach to the Bayonettta world.
Correction (8/3): A previous version of this story referred to Hashimoto as Bayonetta's director rather than producer. Bayonetta was actually directed by Hideki Kamiya who also directed Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe and Okami, and who once had hair.
