First Look: Zack & Ombra

The game many consider to be Konami's take on Professor Layton gets an official site.

Coinciding with its debut in this week's Famitsu, Konami has opened an official site for Zack & Ombra: The Phantom Amusement Park.

The page contains most of the information from this week's Famitsu reveal. See that story for a summary of what's known so far, and look below for first screenshots, including shots of the Studio 4C animation.

In the site's character section, you'll see Zack (top left), Polly (right), the Ombra (center of the page), and, at the page's bottom, Jino, Raphaelo and Goronbo. See the Famitsu reveal story for profiles.

The cast page has a look at Zack voice actor Ryunosuke Kamiki and Polly voice actress Nanami Sakuraba. Konami seems to be putting a good amount of emphasis on the game's voice staff.

You can also hear a sampling of the game's music by clicking the BGM icon in the to the right of the menu bar (it seems to default to off).

Zack & Ombra hits DS on October 28. The site lists the game as supporting two players, although it's unclear at present what the multiplayer is for.
