New Radiant Historia Staff Announced
Additional Persona and Megaten staff working on the new DS RPG. Plus, meet the evil empress.
Atlus gave the Radiant Historia official site its promised update today, sharing additional character details along with an updated staff list.
The staff list now includes additional members of the Atlus side of the production, including:
- Sawao Kato
- Battle Planner. Previously worked as battle planner on Persona 3 and Etrian Odyssey II.
- Tatsuya Watanabe
- Field Planner. Previously worked as field planner on Shin Megamitensei Strange Journey and Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou tai Abadon Ou.
- Kenichi Takamori
- Event Planner. Previously worked as "Demon Synthesize" planner (oh Atlus!) on Shin Megamitensei Strange Journey.
- Daisuke Yajima
- Programmer. Previously did programming work on Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable.
At the game's initial reveal, Atlus announced that Shin Megamitensei III Nocturne battle planner Mitsuru Hirata is serving as director. From outside of Atlus, Satoshi Takayashiki and Hiroshi Konishi, previously from Square Enix's Radiata Stories, also have key roles on Radiant Historia.
Joining the staff update, the site's character section was updated to include an introduction to Protea, empress of Gran org.
Protea is known both inside and outside of Gran org for her wicked rule. She actually has no blood connection to the Gran org royal lineage, though. She's a former street girl (I'm not sure if this means prostitute). The former king Victore fell in love with her and married her. Victore was assassinated, and she ascended the throne.
Because of her upbringing, it is rumored that she has no actual governing ability. In actuality, her confidants, General Dias and Duke Servan do the governing.
The next official site update is scheduled for the 17th.
