Square Enix Looking Into Web Releases of Tokyo Game Show Promo Videos

Plus, Tetsuya Nomura learns about Twitter.

Maybe we will get some online Versus footage after all.

Getting to see the latest Square Enix game footage is always one of the highlights of Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa. But if you're not actually in attendance at the events, you're usually out of luck as Square Enix seems to never actually get around to releasing the footage online.

That may be changing at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Tetsuya Nomura Tweeted this earlier today: "Editing the TGS promotional videos is taking up my thoughts and my time. We're also looking into a time frame for a release on the net, so those who can't come to the event take ease."

That "time frame" will hopefully not be too far off!

And while we're in hope mode, let's hope he's talking about the Agito and Versus footage, and not just the Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded and The 3rd Birthday trailer.

In other Tetsuya Nomura Twitter news, Nomura wrote this earlier today: "There have been more comments from overseas of late, but what does it mean when there's no comment and just a bunch of @(name)? No RT, no QT, just a Hash tag followed by an '@--'. I was just wondering what it means when they just put a bunch of '@--' and don't say anything.

I think Nomura is talking about this:

I don't know what it means either, Nomura.

If you're thinking about telling Nomura what it means, don't bother. Someone already did. Who? Unfortunately, The 3rd Birthday staff has implemented a policy of not including the names of their followers in replies, apparently out of courtesy, so we'll never know who the good samaritan is.
