Looking to at long last try out Final Fantasy XIV with the start of the game's open beta tomorrow? Bad news! The open beta has been pushed back.
The game's beta portal site delivered the last minute notice today. Apparently, major bugs were discovered in the game, forcing the delay beyond the scheduled 9/1 11:00am start. Further specifics were not shared.
Square Enix promised an announcement once the new date is finalized.
