Square Enix Details Tokyo Game Show Plans
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, Tactics Ogre and The 3rd Birthday lead the way.
Square Enix opened its Tokyo Game Show special site today, at long last providing specifics on its title lineup following a couple of weeks of Twitter teases.
The page lists the following games for display at the event:
- Front Mission Evolved (PS3/X360/Win): Playable & Video
- Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (DS): Playable & Video
- Lord of Arcana (PSP): Playable & Video
- Tactics Ogre (PSP): Playable & Video
- The 3rd Birthday (PSP): Playable & Video
- Mind Jack (PS3/X360): Playable & Video
- Final Fantasy Legends (Mobile): Playable & Video
- Call of Duty Black Ops (PS3/X360/Win): Video
- Deus Ex (PS3/X360): Video
- Lara Croft Guardian of Light (PS3/X360): Playable & Video
- Final Fantasy XIV (PS3/Win): Video
- Final Fantasy XI (PS2/X360/Win): Video
The company's booth will also be playable kiosks for Fallout New Vegas (PS3, X360), Craft Mama (DS), Baby Sitter Mama (Wii -- really, Taito?) and Motto! Stitch! DS (DS). This list includes games from subsidiary Taito, as well as Disney Interactive and Bethesda.
The site does not detail Square Enix's stage plans for the event. In past Tweets, producers like Tetsuya Nomura have said that the company's booth will have an Open Theater showing the latest trailer footage as well as a set of monitors in the hidden waiting lines showing off footage for games like Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII. This would be similar to the company's showing at last year's TGS and Jump Festa events, but different from the older Square Enix booths which also had a sit-down Closed Theater
Square Enix tends to adds new titles to its TGS lineup as the show approaches, so check back at the site over the coming weeks. TGS kicks off on September 16.
