Gundam Musou 3 Gets Playable Debut at TGS

Newly announced title added to Namco Bandai's updated exhibit list.

Gundam Musou and Macross Trial Frontier will team up for a robot-themed stage.

Gundam Musou 3 was announced today for a winter release time frame. But you're not going to have to wait all that long to play it, if the Makuhari Messe in Chiba is trainable.

Namco Bandai shared an updated TGS exhibit list today, and featured prominently is Gundam Musou 3. The PS3 and Xbox 360 sequel in the series that's known overseas as "Dynasty Warriors Gundam" will be in the booth in both playable and video form.

The new list also includes the recently announced Karada de Kotaeru Atarashii Nou Tore, a Kinect brain training game. This is listed as video-only. The game was playable at Microsoft's recent Media Briefing press conference, so it's possible that it will appear in playable form in Microsoft's booth. Microsoft has yet to announce its final lineup.

Namco Bandai also has some special stage events planned for the public days.

Of particular note is the "New Robot Game Special Stage," which will be held on the 18th from 12:00 to 12:45. This stage will introduce Gundam Musou 3, Super Robot Taisen L and Macross F and will be hosted by voice actors Yuichi Nakamura and Tooru Furuya.

Idolmaster 2, although video-only at the event, will have a stage showing a live play session. Namco Bandai also promises some "shocking announcements." The stage will be broadcast live at Namco Bandai's Ustream channel so tune in on the 18th starting at 13:15.

The publisher has other stages planned as well. For a full list, visit the Namco Bandai TGS special site.
