3DS Peripheral Designer Lets Slip System Release Date, Then Disappears
I'm afraid of writing this story.
A Twitter user named "nocchisan," claiming to be a former employee or contractor for peripheral maker Keys Factory, recently posted this Tweet:
It says that eleven 3DS product that he designed will be released through Keys Factory on 11/20, simultaneous with the 3DS.
It's not uncommon for peripheral makers like Keys Factory to flood the market with peripherals simultaneous with a platform's release.
But the real mystery here is that a 3DS release date has not yet been announced.
Even more mysterious... "Nocchisan" has since disappeared. Not just the revealing Tweet, but the entire account.
And maybe even the person too. These things happen when... IWATA STOPS SMILING!!!
Nintendo is expected to announce final release details on the 3DS at a press conference on September 29.
