Konami Brings Winning Eleven, Pro Baseball Spirits and Ridge Racer to 3DS

Five games on the way from Metal Gear publisher.

Konami took the veil off its 3DS lineup at today's Nintendo Conference 2010 press event. There's a much more than just Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater on the way from the publisher.

Specifically, Konami highlighted five games:

Asphalt 3D

The latest entry in the Asphalt racing series features 40 licensed cars, 16 cities, 3D visuals and a multiplayer mode supporting up to six players. As with past entries, you'll make use of nitros and drifts and seek out shortcuts which can even include jumping between roofs. A release is set for 2011.

Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater

Konami didn't say much new about this remake of Metal Gear Solid 3. It's due for Spring 2011 release. The player count was listed as single player.

Project Love Plus for DS

This new entry in the Love Plus series promises to make full use of the system's touch screen, microphone, gyro sensor and network capabilities. Your girlfriend will remember your face, and you'll also be able to freely switch between side and vertical "tate" view modes. A release is set for Spring.

Winning Eleven Series

Konami's soccer franchise is coming to 3DS in Spring 2011. The game promises 3D visuals, bringing players closer to the action.

Pro Baseball Spirits

Konami's realistic (non big-headed) baseball series comes to 3DS with 3D recreations of stadiums and players. Modes of play include match, pennant and home run derby, offering both simple and in-depth experiences depending on your preference. You'll be able to select between arcade-style and simulation play, the latter making you into the manager. A release is set for Spring.
