Third Week at Top For Pokemon Black & White

DS title beats newcomers like K-On, Okamiden and Dead Rising 2 as it approaches the four million mark.

Both versions of Dead Rising 2 debuted in the top 10 this week.

Pokemon Black & White continued its reign at the top of the Media Create weekly sales charts this week. The fastest selling game in Japanese history, Black & White sold an additional 374,859 units this week and came within sight of the four million mark, a feat that it could reach over the next couple of weeks.

K-on allows for five player wireless performances.

Once again, Pokemon had some big competition, this time from both the PSP and DS. Sega's latest PSP rhythm game, an adaptation of anime K-On!, sold 170,848 units, mirroring the success of Hatsune Project Diva. Below it, Capcom's portable Okami sequel Okamiden sold 84,472 units.

Other newcomers this week included Zero no Kiseki, Dead Rising 2, a new package for Xbox 360's Monster Hunter Frontier Online, Dragon Ball Tag VS, and a number of dialogue-heavy adventure games.
