Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Get Bass Set for XLA and PSN

Sega continues with its Dreamcast classics releases.

Word of Sega's next set of downloadable Dreamcast revivals came from overseas sources yesterday. Today, Sega Japan made the announcement for themselves. Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Get Bass will be following Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi onto Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Sega added the two games to the Dreamcast revival portal today.

According to the description at the portal page, the port of Get Bass will offer all the extras the Dreamcast version had over the arcade original, including female characters and original modes. Sega is giving the game 16x9 support.

For Space Channel 5, Sega's description mentioned Space Michael, voiced by Michael Jackson, and all the other features of the original, including Ulala Dance mode, the dress up features, and the two player options.

Both games are due for Spring 2011 release, priced ¥1,000 on PSN and 800 Microsoft Points on XLA.

Joining the announcement of the new games, Sega also announced that Crazy Taxi will be seeing domestic release on November 24. This is also priced ¥1,000 on PSN and 800 MS Points on XLA.
