Ubisoft Announces Child of Eden and Michael Jackson for Japan
Because the Japanese like to get their rhythm and dance on too.
Child of Eden and Michael Jackson The Experience were announced back at E3, but apparently never officially for Japan. On Friday, Ubisoft corrected the problem. Both games are now officially on the way for release in Japan.
In development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Child of Eden is the latest offering from Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment. The 360 version supports Kinect.
Ubisoft opened a Japanese official site for the game, offering trailers and details on the "Journey Project," a promotion through which fans can send in pictures to be used in the game's final stage. The only requirement appears to be that you show the wonderfulness of the Earth. Visit the site for details. The English site can be found here.
Child of Eden will see domestic release in 2011.
Michael Jackson The Experience, a dance game themed around the King of Pop, is due for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. The PS3 and X360 versions will have, respectively, Move and Kinect support, and will also include karaoke functionality.
Ubisoft also listed a partial list of songs for the Wii version: Bad, Beat It, Billy Jean, Black or White, Earth Song, Smooth Criminal, The Girl is Mine, They Don't Care About Us, Who Is It and Workin' Day And Night.
The Experience is currently date TBA on all platforms.
