Ace Attorney Investigations Sequel Dated
Capcom readying multiple versions of followup.
Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Ace Attorney Investigations 2) will be released on February 3, 2011, Capcom announced today. The sequel will have the standard DS price of ¥5,040.
Joining the standard version, Capcom will release the Gyakuten Kenji 2 Collectors Package, Gyakuten Kenji 2 Limited Ediiton and Gyakuten Kenji 2 Extended Edition.
The Collectors Package includes an 11 track soundtrack CD with arranged orchestral music from the game courtesy of composer Noriyuki Iwadare, and a DVD with promotion videos and footage of the game's Tokyo Game Show stage show. The DVD and CD booklet has an original manga from Tatsuro Iwamoto. The package will run ¥6,090.
The Limited Edition includes the content of the Collectors Package, but adds a 180mm (1/10 scale) figure of main character Miles Edgeworth. This will be priced ¥8,000.
The Extended Edition combines the standard version of the game with the figure. This will run ¥7,140.
The figure and both versions that include it are e-Capcom exclusive items. Also exclusively for e-Capcom buyers, Capcom will be including special Gyakuten Kenji 2 strap.
