We're going to have to wait longer than originally thought for the new generation of Armored Core.

This probably won't come as too much of a surprise, but Armored Core 5 won't be making its original 2010 release date. From Software has changed the game's planned release period from its original 2010 time frame to some time in 2011.

Armored Core 5 was announced back in January, but we haven't heard much since. In an early Famitsu interview (see a summary here), producer Toshifumi Nabeshima promised a different type of mech action experience, with greater complexity to the stages and changes to the mission structure.

Joining the date change, From Software said to expect further details on the game to be announced in early 2011.
