Sega Puts Sonic Free Riders on Display at Joypolis
Xbox 360, Kinect Sensor and game bundles on offer for tournament winners.
Sega will be giving its Kinect launch title Sonic Free Riders a big push at one of its most famous amusement facilities, Odaiba's Tokyo Joypolis.
From November 20 through November 23, visitors to Joypolis will be able to sample the game. Those who do so will receive an original Sonic Free Riders sticker.
Sega will also be holding tournaments using the game's tag race mode on the 20th, 21st and 23rd. The winning pair on each day will receive an Xbox 360, Kinect Sensor and Sonic Free Riders.
To take part in the demo event, you'll simply have to get into Joypolis, which costs ¥500. To take part in the tournament, you'll need to have a Tokyo Joypolis ride passport, which runs up to ¥3,500.
For those who just want to sample Kinect ahead of the device's November 20 release, major retailers throughout Tokyo are currently holding general demo events.
